We got real pissed
Will you look at this shit?

1.What kind of details does Carver choose to describe the “place?”

                  Looks like a garage sale.
Middle of a neighborhood because lights came on up and down the street

2.What do the following passages tell you about the place?

The girl sat on the bed. She pushed off her shoes and lay back. She thought she could see a star.”

“Lights came on in the houses up and down the street.”

It feels like home to them. It is in a neighborhood because lights came on up and down the street.

3.Now look at the passages that you chose. How do they talk about the place? Why are they important or unimportant?
while they are there they make the place sound like a normal garage sale looking at everything that they are trying to sell to see what they would be interested in buying but when they go home and talk to their friends they say things like “will you look at this shit?” and “we got real pissed and danced.” And “the old guy give it to us and all these crappy records.”

evaluation criteria group evaluation

Criteria: Group Movie Project

Describe your role in the production of the class movie. How did your contribution make things more efficient? How did you help make the movie better? What specific contributions did you make? Did you go above and beyond, or simply show up? Be honest.
i was not here for the majority of the production but when i was here i think i was helpful i tried to contribute as much as i could by helping film the montage and contributing ideas that i thought would make the scene better.

Describe one or more things you learned about the writing process that you did not know before working on this project.
it takes a lot longer than i had originally thought it would have taken to create a quality film i thought it was a shorter process but the key is in the details in making a good quality film that people can follow along with it and understand what is going on and how the characters are feeling throughout the movie.

Describe one or more things you learned about the production (filming) process that you did not know before working on this project.
you can just kind of mess around with it with everyones ideas to see which one works the best to make the scene the best fit for the movie but in doing this it makes the filming process longer than you originally intended it to take to film the movie but thats ok as long as the end result is the quality you were shooting for at the beginning then why would it matter to anyone how long it took to plan all the scenes and how long it takes to film it as long as the end result is the same quality you were shooting for.

Describe one or more things you learned about the post-production (editing, sound, etc.) process that you did not know before working on this project.
the editing is just playing around with the film you got to make it come together in the best possible way sometimes it takes a long time sometimes it takes two minutes it depends on the film you have and the ideas you have for that film if your first idea works great but sometimes you have to keep going back and editing the littlest things because like i said before the key is in the details

Are you satisfied with the final product? Why or why not? Be honest.
yes im very satisfied with the end product i think it is a quality film that people can understand follow and feel how the characters are feeling throughout the film which are the three qualities i think every decent film have.

Suggest one improvement for next year’s class. What could I do to make it easier/better/more informative/more fun?
be creative with your ideas i don't think we thought outside the box enough when we came up with the ideas for the film
